HIGHLAND WINS GIRLS SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP

The Highland girls soccer team beat HighMark by a score of 2-1 to win this year’s championship. Highland held a 1-0 halftime lead after some stellar team play. In the Second half, HighMark evened things up with about 3 minutes remaining. The remaining time was frantic with some great play and lucky saves in goal until a Highland kick found the back of the net with less than a minute remaining.
