On Thursday, February 23rd Ogden School District competed in the Utah Special Olympics Unified Basketball tournament at Clearfield High School. Teams from Ogden High, Ben Lomond, and Ogden Special Needs Post-High participated in the games. Student-athletes with special needs partnered with peer mentors to play games in a round robin format in preparation for the state tournament held March 7th at Weber State University. In total Ogden District had approx. 75 participants as student-athletes, peer mentors, coaches, and staff assists.
